How does the Holsta Mk2 belt work?
The Mk2 uses a flip-up lever-lock buckle. Thread the strap, set your length, and press the lever down — it clamps the webbing against the buckle's internal grip and holds tight with zero slippage. Flip the lever back up and it releases in an instant to adjust or take off. No holes, no notches — set it once and it stays exactly where you put it.

Will it slip or loosen during the day?
This belt never slips. The lever-lock clamps the webbing down and grips it hard, so once it's set, it's set — no slipping, no re-adjusting halfway through the day, even when you're bending, lifting or on your feet for hours.

How do you thread and adjust it?
Thread the strap through your belt loops and into the buckle, set it to the right length, then press the lever down to lock it. To go tighter or looser, flip the lever up, slide the strap to where you want it, and lock it back down. Seconds, one-handed, every time. Pro tip: You can also undo the buckle by pulling the strap out away from your body.

Is it comfortable? Will it dig in?
Extremely comfortable. The low-profile buckle sits flat and the webbing flexes with you, so there's no digging in when you sit, bend or crouch — comfortable enough that you'll forget you've got it on.

Is the buckle heavy?
No — it's machined from aluminum alloy, so it has a solid, quality feel but stays noticeably light, much lighter than a chunky steel buckle. It's balanced for all-day comfort, and most people stop noticing it after a wear or two.

Can I wear it with any trousers?
Yes — it fits jeans, work trousers, cargos, shorts and outdoor gear. If your belt loops are tight, release the strap from the buckle, thread it through your loops on its own, then lock it back into the buckle.

Awesome belt
To be honest I hated Holsta belts at first.
But since came to love them over time.
They are all robust belts, but at the airport the quick release belts are a pain to get off at security and quickly put back on again once you are through 😉😂

Great nylon tool belt. The buckle design is excellent, it is less bulky than a pull through/cinch buckle and stays in place much better than the typical plastic clasp buckle. The Mark 2 buckle also looks good with casual office attire.
I’m not a builder or a trader, just a regular guy looking for a belt that does what I need it to do, i.e. look good work well and stay put. Whilst Holsta belts aren’t cheap, they are superb. They are infinitely adjustable and they stay put when you fasten them. Plus if you have old leather belts you’ll know that they have a tendency to stretch and curl over time. These don’t! Very pleased with my purchase 😊
The Mk2 belt is fantastic compared with the original.
I have both types of belts now and way prefer the Mk2.
For me personally I can get the Mk2 tighter and it stays tighter all day.

The strap is a standard belt width (1.45in / 3.7cm), so it should fit most loops, and the buckle isn’t actually meant to pass through the loops. I have both belts and a phone pouch. Am very impressed with all of my purchases . Well made excellent products. Both buckles work amazing . The clip together buckle is a tight fight going thru loops on yr pants but once is in its a great buckle.
